Appointments

Please telephone between 9.00 am and 12.00 noon or between 2.30 pm and 6.30 pm ( but on Wed. afternoons phone between 4.30-6.30 pm) . We provide appointments at short notice if necessary. Babies and children will be seen as soon as possible if brought to appointments in the surgery. This may be quicker than a home visit.

The surgery is busier on Monday mornings. If your appointment is not urgent try to book for a less busy time.

Online booking : Please ask a receptionist if you would like to be allowed to book appointments online.

Same Day Appointments

There are no restrictions regarding same day or advanced bookings. If the matter is non urgent please be prepared to accept appointments later in the week to help us offer same day appointments to more urgent cases.

Routine appointments

If you need to book a routine follow-up appointment with the GP you can make an appointment  in advance (generally up to the end of the year and at least 2 months).

Please phone after 10.30 am to avoid busy times. You may also book appointments for certain time slots online.

Many routine appointments are for patients who have a long-term or chronic condition that needs monitoring on a regular basis. We will let you know your review date during the consultation. It is important to continue your regular check-ups, even if you are feeling well. Routine appointments are available during normal surgery hours with the practice nurse and/or doctor. We may telephone you to offer appointments  for services such as flu jabs, blood test appointments etc.

Telephone access to the Doctor or Nurse

  • Doctor: Monday Tuesday Thursday and Fridays 4.20 pm – 4.50 pm
  • Nurse: Tuesday 12.00 pm – 2.00 pm

Cancel appointments

If you let us know as soon as possible you can’t attend your appointment, we can then make it available for another patient.
